EC-130H Compass Call: A Wᴇᴀᴘᴏɴ That Makes Enemy Bʟɪɴᴅ and Dᴇᴀғ

The EC-130H Compass Call is an airborne tactical wᴇᴀᴘᴏɴ system that makes use of a highly modified version of the airframe that was originally designed for the C-130 Hercules. The technology is designed to disrupt enemy command and control communications and to impede opponent coordination, both of which are crucial to the enemy’s ability to manage their forces.

The Compass Call system employs offensive counter-information and electronic attack capabilities in support of US and Coalition tactical air, surface, and special operations forces and the Enemies will be Blind and Deaf.

The EC-130H is one of the three main U.S. electronic warfare aircraft, along with the Boeing EA-18G Growler, and F-16CJ Fighting Falcon, all of which can suppress enemy air defenses while jamming communications, radar, and command-and-control targets.
