We went to the shelter to rescue the mother dog and puppies. Mixed dogs mother without one eye came to the shelter and gave birth.
The shelter owner said babies get wet when mother dog urinates in a cage. She was urinating outside the cage.
While the number of animals slaughtered has decreased dramatically over the years as a result of the hard work of shelter and rescue experts and an increasing number of people choosing adoption, hundreds of thousands are still in need of a home each year.
