Kaman K-1200 Helicopter HeliQwest C-FXFT Front View K-MAX Takeoff and Launch

The Kaman K-MAX (company designation K-1200) is an American helicopter manufactured by Kaman Aɪʀᴄʀᴀꜰᴛ with intermeshing rotors (synchropter). It is designed for external cargo load operations and can hoist a payload that is more than the helicopter’s empty weight, which is above 6,000 pounds (2,700 kilograms).

A variant of an unmanned aerial vehicle with optional remote control has been created and assessed in extensive ᴄᴏᴍʙᴀᴛ operations in Afghanistan. After being out of production for more than a decade, Kaman stated in June 2015 that it will resume manufacture of the K-MAX owing to 10 commercial orders.
The maiden flight of a K-MAX from the resumed manufacturing occurred in May 2017, and on July 13, 2017, the first new-build since 2003 was handed to China for ꜰɪʀᴇꜰɪɢʜᴛɪɴɢ.
