Russia is at odds with Ukraine and the rest of the Western world. NATO has invested over $10 billion into Ukraine in the form of western w̵e̵a̵p̵o̵n̵ry, armor, and general assistance. To maintain its dominance during and after the conflict, Russia would need to bring something more, something greater; a weapon capable of shifting the odds in their favor while being in a 1-V-World position.
This w̵e̵a̵p̵o̵n̵ could only be a laser w̵e̵a̵p̵o̵n̵, and fortunately for Russia, they have been working on a variety of them; some of which can blind satellites up to 1,500 kilometers above Earth, while others can burn up drones 5 kilometers away in five seconds.
Deployed to take on its Russian counterpart, the Su-57, the Raptor would likely come out on top fairly easily except that Russia, due to their success in the laser w̵e̵a̵p̵o̵n̵ space, could now be fitting their laserw̵e̵a̵p̵o̵n̵s on the Su-57. But the F-22 Raptor could respond by being armed with the SHiELD laser w̵e̵a̵p̵o̵n̵.
