Sunshine Cruz greeted 2023 in Bohol with her kids Angelina, Sam, and Chesca, as well as the actress’ ex-husband Cesar Montano and his companion Kath Angeles.
Cruz conveyed her gratitude to the Montaos on her Instagram page on Sunday, Jan. 1, by showing a preview of the New Year’s Eve supper they hosted.
“Cesar and Kath, thanks for hosting tonight’s dinner. The girls and I had a wonderful time chatting and catching up with all of you,” she said. “We’ve missed Bohol and masaya kami na nakasama namin kayo dito sa (we’re happy to be with you here in our) New Year celebration.”
Montano’s kids with Angeles as well as Diego Loyzaga, the veteran actor’s son with actress Teresa Loyzaga, were also present in the celebration.
Diego, Angelina and Sam also treated fans to more moments from their trip through their respective Instagram pages.
Sunshine earlier bid goodbye to 2022 by looking back on her “disappointments and heartaches” and noting how “love and forgiveness prevailed” in their family.
Sunshine reunited with Montano during Sam’s 18th birthday party last August. Montano and Angeles were also in attendance at Angelina’s 21st birthday party in September.
