The RBS-15 Mɪssɪʟᴇ employs a “duck” aerodynamic design. Thus, the steerable tail is situated in front of the wing, and the wing planes and rudders are arranged in a cross configuration.
It is equipped with the French “Microturbo” TRI-60 turbofan engine with 450 kg of thrust. The engine can operate on both kerosene JP8 and high-calorie synthetic fuel JP10.
The engine air intake is located in the fuselage’s lower portion. Two solid rocket boosters were added behind it for land and sea adaptations. 18″ is the angle between the thrust vector of boosters and the longitudinal axis of the glider. Its marching speed is 298 meters per second. It is 143 feet in length.
