Great Dane Shelby came to us from a shelter, unwanted, nearly blind and in chronic pain.
We nursed her through 4 surgeries to restore some of her sight and relieve her pain and she has eye meds 6 times a day for life.
She sweetly welcomes and nurtures the never ending cast of orphaned and cast off babies we rescue, including baby Fernando. Fernando arrived tiny, sickly, dehydrated and missing a foot but he’s getting stronger by the day.
