At a private party, Katarina Rodriguez and her partner Nio Barbers made the gender of their second child public.
According to a video posted on Tuesday, Dec. 20 on her YouTube account, the Miss World Philippines 2018 winner appeared to have anticipated that she would be having a baby girl because it appeared in her dreams.
“I think it’s a girl because I had two dreams. [In] the first one, the baby came out and it was a girl,” she narrated before the actual sex reveal happened. “Although no one confirmed it was a girl, to me it looked like a girl.”
“The second dream was last night. We had to open something and there was either a pink or blue circle. When we opened it, the circle was pink,” she added.
The baby’s sex announcement was made through Quino, the couple’s firstborn, who surprised his parents and the guests wearing a pink polo and shorts, indicating that they would be welcoming a baby girl into their family.
The beauty queen announced her pregnancy in October through a pictorial inspired by the music video of pop star Britney Spears’ “Oops!…I Did It Again.”
Rodriguez and Barbers welcomed Quino via water birth delivery in 2021.
